Although Maine has one of the lowest infection rates in the country, the effects of Covid-19 are wreaking financial havoc upon our tourism industry, and unfortunately the Royal Anchor is not immune. This is taking a serious tole on our hard-working staff so we ask you to consider the following options if you need to adjust your reservations for this season. Option 1 would be to move your reservation to a later date this year. Option 2 would be to reschedule for next year with the same dates. Option 3 would be to transfer your deposit to be used as a gift card that does not expire to be used at your convenience. Thank you.
New Policy Alert:
We will be going beyond the requirements provided to us by the
State of Maine when it comes to cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing to ensure that our guests and employees are healthy and safe..
Therefore our new check-in time will be 3pm
As always, if your room is ready earlier than 3pm you may access it
The Royal Anchor is known for its meticulous cleaning and sanitation standards inside our guestrooms and out and as we continue to prepare for the upcoming season we are actively studying more in-depth cleaning procedures related to the outbreak, provided by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.
We are all in this together and share the same broken heart of many of our guests whose family traditions had to be put on hold.
